A Flock of Birds, A School of Fish

You should complete the lesson Arrays before doing this assignment.

Using arrays, create an Alice3 world with any scene and an array of characters.

Add any procedure you want: walking, flying, marching, swimming, etc. Make the entire group of characters move together.

You can have pixies flying around a castle, penguins who dive in the water, a school of fish, etc.

For added interest use either random numbers or asSeenBy.

Save the Alice3 program as LastName_FirstName_arrays.a3p. For example Smith_Mary_arrays.a3p

1. Take a Screen Shots of the movie to post in this weeks discussion.
2. Submit the LastName_FirstName_arrays.a3p file in assignments.
3. Create an mp4 for the discussion.
4. Save the program as LastName_FirstName_arrays.a3p and submit in Blackboard under assignments.

The following are requirements:

If any of these requirements are not met, the score will be 0.

The program opens.

If the requirements are met, the grade is as follows:

You have a comment for each procedure or block of code telling what takes place.	3
You have at least one array of at least 5 objects.	5
Procedures and functions are used where appropriate.	5
myFirstMethod does not have much code except to call procedures and functions.	6
You have at least one block of code that processes the entire array.	7
The procedures and functions use parameters rather than constants.	7
You have used at least 3 different control structures to create an interesting movie.	7
You have used an additional feature such as random number, as seen by, markers or vehicles to show your skill with Alice.	7

If you do not receive a perfect score you may resubmit it as long as it is resubmitted within 3 days.
