alice introduction

This course is an introduction to programming using Alice to create 3D animation. It covers programming concepts usually taught in an introduction to programming course, plus enough 3D animation to make it fun, and so that you can complete a semester long final project.  The final project, animating a fairy tale, or other known story, teaches you to design, test, and debug a larger project.
Beginning with the first lesson, you will start work on the final project. As new tools are learned, you will add to the final project, one step at a time. By the end of the course, you will have finished a project you can be proud of.
A Final Project Design document guides you through the steps, and each step is modeled using the story of Jack in the Beanstalk as an example.
The following guidelines will help you get the most from this project:

The story must be appropriate for children. No profanity, nudity, strong violence or anything else inappropriate.
