Hello world I'm talking about using the file Explorer In Windows to look at the path, the file name and extension. There is, for almost everybody. There is a C drive and it's represented at C: In that C drive. You can have lots and lots of folders, and you can have folders inside folders. I have a folder here called myData. Click this arrow next to it And see the subfolders. If I click on holidays You can see I have some pictures for different holidays. I also have zodiac and I have some pictures for zodiac. I have selected details for this folder and I see the Name, Date, and Type. I could also select icons, or Large icons. I have selected to show hidden items and also to see the file extensions. Extension is the three letters of the type: jpg is a graphics format. And so if I double click on that it would know to open that in one of my Graphics editors. Txt are text files. And you can see, see if I am here, It shows this path: C:\myData \holidays And then if I selected one of these files, The exact location of one of these files. C:\myData\holidays\halloween.png C:\myData\holidays\halloween.png And since these have txt as the extension, If we Click on that, double click on it. It will open that in Notepad. Those extension are important. They tell the operating system what software to use to look at that file.
